I live in Kent with my husband and our three teenage daughters. I have a small workshop in Tonbridge where the magic happens!

Working in the BBC Wardrobe Department for 14 years fuelled my passion for vintage fashion and love of eclectic patterns & textures from the 1960s/70s.

Re-upholstering dining chairs first started as a hobby, but it has now become my business. It's taken some years to reignite that hands-on, tactile feeling I had working with costumes, but now I've found a job that I absolutely love.

Seeing the transformation from a mid-century dining chair unloved, being stripped, treated and given a new lease of life with a little TLC and a gorgeous new fabric seat is a joy.
